Brief Overview of the Role The maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the machinery and ensuring routine inspections and repairs are carried out to the required standards and comply with health and safety regulations. Duties to Include
  • Responsible for conducting and completing routine inspections and emergency repairs to the equipment.
  • Inspecting machinery, equipment, and systems. Checking and maintaining safety equipment such as fire alarms and fire extinguishers.
  • Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance work.
  • Carrying out welding work.
  • Fault finding and problem solving
  • Assisting in the installation of new machinery and equipment.

As a Level 3 Apprentice Dental Nurse, you will assist the dentist chair-side, plus much more, and undergo full training to develop skills to enable you to progress with a view for a full-time vacancy once qualified. Duties to Include
  • Assisting the dentist chair-side
  • Updating client records
  • Cleaning and decontamination of tools and surgery
  • Reception duties
  • General admin duties.
The training you will be getting NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing Standard qualification Functional Skills in maths and English, if required. Monday - Friday 8 am - 12 pm and 1 pm - 4.30 pm.

Total hours per week: 32 hours a week
