Brief Overview of the RoleThe training you will be getting

A great opportunity has come up for the successful candidate to join our friendly team at The Staffordshire Clinic. As an apprentice dental nurse, you will assist the dentist and undergo full training to develop skills to enable you to progress with a view for a full-time vacancy once qualified.

Duties to Include

• Assisting the dentist chairside
• Updating client records
• Cleaning and decontamination of tools and surgery
• Reception duties
• General admin duties

The training you will be getting

• NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing Functional skills in Maths and English if required
• A level 3 qualification which has been approved by the General Dental Council as meeting the requirements for entry to the professional register as a dental nurse

• GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) desirable
• GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) desirable

Working Hours

Mon – Thurs 08:45 – 17:30 Fri 08.45 – 13:15.

Future Prospects

• There will be a full-time position available for the successful applicant who completes the apprenticeship
