Brief Overview of the Role The apprentice will play a key role in ensuring the business meet its key goals and targets, supporting the administration office. Duties include: Using the Academy systems contact staff and pass on calls and messages. Duties to Include Duties to include; Provide an efficient and professional Reception service to all visitors to the Academy and members of the school community, focused on warm and friendly customer service. To ensure that all visitors to the Academy are signed in and out correctly and provided with the correct visitor passes in line with safeguarding practices. Using the Academy systems contact staff and pass on calls and messages. Monitor throughout the day the Academy inbox and direct enquiries appropriately. Answer all telephone enquiries promptly and take messages as necessary to pass on to the appropriate person. Use SIMS to locate students as required. Provide support to the Attendance Team for e.g. first day absence calls, entering marks onto SIMS and any other duties as asked for by the Attendance Officer. Operate the Texting service for the Academy and ensuring messages have been quality assured. Arrange hospitality, car parking, other special arrangements for visitors, including pre-entering on Inventry systems Arrange room bookings where necessary Supporting Heads PA with events preparation and administration duties. Brief Overview of the Role

A great opportunity has come up for the successful candidate to join our friendly team at The Staffordshire Clinic. As an apprentice dental nurse, you will assist the dentist and undergo full training to develop skills to enable you to progress with a view for a full-time vacancy once qualified.

£9,746.88

Working week

Mon - Thurs 08:45 - 17:30 Fri 08.45 - 13:15

Total hours per week: 35.5

What you will do in your working day

Duties will include:

  • Assisting the dentist chairside
  • Updating client records
  • Cleaning and decontamination of tools and surgery
  • Reception duties
  • General admin duties

The training you will be getting

  • NVQ Level 3 in Dental Nursing Functional skills in Maths and English if required
  • A level 3 qualification which has been approved by the General Dental Council as meeting the requirements for entry to the professional register as a dental nurse.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • There will be a full-time position available for the successful applicant who completes the apprenticeship
