Brief Overview of the Role

A great opportunity has come up for the successful candidate to join our friendly team at Bloxwich Dental Centre. As a trainee dental nurse, you will assist the dentist and undergo full training to develop skills to enable you to progress with a view for a full-time vacancy once qualified.

Duties to Include

• Assisting the dentist chairside
• Updating client records
• Cleaning and decontamination of tools and surgery
• Reception duties
• General admin duties

The training you will be getting

• Dental Nurse (integrated) Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
• Functional Skills, if required

Desired skills and personal qualities

Desired Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) desirable
• GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) desirable

Working Hours

Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Total hours per week: 34.5 hours a week

Future Prospects

• Possible full time position on completion of apprenticeship

About the Company:

We are a busy mainly NHS practice, situated in Bloxwich High Street. The practice has air con in all surgeries and has recently been refurbished inside. We have a friendly, helpful team and have had several dental nurse trainees over the years, most of who are now qualified and working in general dentistry.
