A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to join the fast growing team at Stafford UPVC Windows. As part of the warehousing team you will support the business by ensuring all parts are stored correctly and are ready for distribution when needed.

Duties to include 

  • Loading and unloading of deliveries
  • Accurate paperwork completion for goods in / out
  • Data input
  • Picking of orders
  • Correct / safe storage of products
  • Correct use of equipment in factory
  • Assisting in manufacture of products
  • Customer service
  • Health and safety awareness

Working week

7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday with the option for – Saturday – 1 on, 1 off – to be decided)

Total hours per week: 40.00

About the employer

The family-run business was started in 1977 and still runs today as a family business. The business has been built on recommendations and have a customer base of over fourteen thousand.

We have 2 show sites, the main one here in Stafford where we operate 8 teams of installers who are all trained to our high standards, and the other show site at Mere Park, Newport Shropshire.

The many products we have on display at our show sites are orangeries, conservatories, supalite roof conservatories, windows, composite doors, uPVC doors bi-fold doors, bay windows. Upgrading of your existing conservatory with new glass and roof.

Our sales team of which many have been with the Company from day 1 have a wealth of knowledge and experience to advise and help customers with making the right decision. A visit can be arranged with you to discuss your requirements and provide you with a free no-obligation quotation.

For conservatories and orangeries, we provide project management and arrange everything from planning, building control, building work, plastering, plumbing, electrical work and flooring – tiles and laminated flooring and underfloor heating.

Future prospects

A full time job opportunity will be available to the chosen candidate at the end of the training.

Duties to include 

  • Wrapping, labelling and checking palettes
  • Moving and storing palettes
  • Cleaning and Tidying the warehouse
  • Supporting with cutting and bailor machines
  • General Health and Safety

Working week

Monday- Friday 9:00-15:00

About the employer

Cateringbase are suppliers of commercial catering equipment – providing Ovens, Dishwasher, Preparation Equipment to restaurants, cafes, hotels, and the caterers. Based in Erdington Birmingham

Future prospects

A full time role may be available to the successful candidate upon completion of training.
