Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprentice
A manufacturing and assembly apprentice is required to become an essential member of the team at one of the UK’s largest manufacturers at a company based in Walsall.
Duties to include
Your duties will include:
- Receiving incoming goods and checking specifications
- Cutting materials to length
- Reading drawings and manufacturing instructions
- Setting machines to cut to length
- Assembling components
- Final preparation and inspection of parts
- Sawing, drilling, and riveting of components required for manufacturing
- Ensuring smooth running of the works and contributing to a high quality and safe working environment
- Developing skills in the understanding of quality and systems
Working week
Monday-Thursday 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am-1.30pm
Total hours per week: 30.00
