This qualification is suitable for people working in the retail industry in roles such as Team Leader/Supervisor, Department Manager or Store Manager of a small outlet.
Mandatory Units

Learners and employers can choose from a variety of units available from the optional groups to make up the remaining credits for the qualification.
The qualification is delivered through a combination of training, guidance, support, self-study and activities in the workplace. On and off job training either through group sessions or on a one-to-one basis. The NVQ will be assessed using varied methods depending on learning style. Technical knowledge and functionality will be assessed through internal and external testing. A portfolio of evidence is required.
Course Progression
Learners may have the opportunity to progress in their careers to a more senior role and move on to higher level qualifications including general management qualifications.
