PTP apprentice plays key role in successful PLANit Global event

PLANit Global apprentice Scott Barnett played an important part in an event at the Lighthouse in Wolverhampton this week, where the company shared its vision for changing the way local businesses can help youngsters with their career choices.

This well attended event was intended to attract businesses in the region to sign up to have a presence on the online portal which is intended to provide remote careers advice in schools. The format of the event included a welcome by BCC CEO Corin Crane, an introduction from PLANit Global’s CEO David Darlaston and an entertaining presentation around the future workforce by Ninder Johal (CEO Nachural Group). Dr. Caroline Badyal, CEO of the Q3 Academy discussed the need for business and education collaboration and Judy Hart (CEO of Investors in Excellence) talked about business sustainability and excellence. Paul Coxhead of PLANit Global wrapped up with a useful, introductory demonstration of the Portal.

Scott (18) who is undertaking his advanced apprenticeship in Sales and Marketing with Performance Through People, was meeting and greeting people and building his network, to be able to start working towards his targets for PLANit Global. He was very professional in his approach and is a credit to his company in the way he dealt with the delegates attending the event.
