Brief Overview of the Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a candidate to work with. We are looking for someone to join our nursery to support the children with their care and education.

Duties to Include

• Supporting children with their day-to-day activities.
• Offering care and understanding to children.
• Planning and implementing educational activities through the week.
• Speaking to parents about their child’s day and their development.
• Working as part of a busy, effective team.
• Helping children to settle using appropriate support and care.
• General housekeeping duties.

The training you will be getting

• Early Years Educator – Level 3 Apprenticeship standard
• Functional Skills, if required

Desired skills and personal qualities

Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Physical fitness

Desired Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4 and above) desirable
• GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4 and above) desirable

Working Hours

Monday – Friday Between the hours of 7:30-6pm

Total hours per week: 30 hours a week

Future Prospects

To be decided upon completion of apprenticeship.
