Brief Overview of the Role

Shelton – Lock Preschool are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is keen to work with children aged 2 – 5 years. Supporting children throughout the session with activities indoors and outdoors.

Duties to Include

• Supervising children throughout the school day
• Working with the staff team
• Attend additional training to support and enhance your child care qualification
• Have key responsibilities of children’s development
• Able to understand and follow policies within the setting
• Be creative and imaginative.
• Be friendly and have a good sense of humour with both staff and children

The training you will be getting

• Level 2 Early Years Practitioner
• Functional skills in maths and English if required

Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Logical, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience

Desired Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) desirable
• GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) desirable

Working Hours and Wage

Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm (30 Hour week).

Total hours per week: 30 hours a week

Future Prospects

• There will be a full-time position for the successful candidate
