Brief Overview of the Role

To assist the dentist or hygienist in surgery and help on Reception where needed.

Duties to Include

• Assist the dentist chairside
• Updating client records Cleaning and decontamination of tools
• Surgery Reception duties
• General admin duties

The training you will be getting

• Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship qualification
• Functional Skills may be required for maths and English

Desired skills and personal qualities

Administrative skills, Attention to detail, Communication skills, Customer care skills, Initiative, IT skills, Logical, Non judgemental, Patience, Team working

Desired Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) desirable
• GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) desirable

Working Hours and Wage

Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 16:30 (30 Minute Lunch).

Total hours per week: 35 hours a week

Future Prospects

• The successful candidate will be considered for a full time position upon completion of the apprenticeship.
