Brief Overview of the Role

A great opportunity has come up for the successful candidate to join our friendly team at Butt Lane Dental Surgery. As a dental nurse, you will assist the dentist and undergo full training to develop skills to enable you to progress to be a fully qualified dental nurse.

Duties to Include

• Assisting the dentist’s chairside
• Updating client records
• Cleaning and decontamination of tools and surgery
• Reception duties
• General admin duties

The training you will be getting

• Dental Nurse (integrated) Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
• Functional Skills, if required

Desired skills and personal qualities

Administrative skills, Attention to detail, Communication skills, Customer care skills, Initiative, Organisation skills, Presentation skills, Problem solving skills, Team working

Desired Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) desirable
• GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) desirable

Working Hours and Wage

Monday – Saturday, Flexi work times between 7.30am – 7.30pm/19.30.

Total hours per week: 37.5 hours a week

Future Prospects

• A full-time role to be offered to the successful candidate at the end of the apprentice
