Brief Overview of the Role

Join our Regulatory Compliance apprenticeship to master ESFA funding compliance, risk management, and audit preparation through hands-on experience and expert guidance. Duties to Include

  • Compliance Support: Offer guidance and support to ensure alignment with ESFA funding rules and audits, advocating for adherence within our team.
  • Risk Assessment: Analyse and manage risks associated with ESFA funding, utilising data to inform decisions and actions.
  • Policy Adherence: Ensure all operations comply with organisational policies, ESFA funding rules, and legal requirements.
  • Data Management: Handle data using IT systems following data protection laws, ensuring submission accuracy.
  • Audit Preparation: Prepare for and respond to ESFA audits, implementing corrective actions to maintain compliance.
  • Compliance Training: Provide internal training on ESFA funding rules, enhancing our compliance processes and practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, ensuring a clear understanding of compliance requirements.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning about ESFA regulations and compliance, fostering an environment of improvement and adaptation.

The training you will be getting

  • Regulatory Compliance Officer Level 4 Apprenticeship Standard Qualification
  • Comprehensive in-house training on ESFA funding rules
  • Training on all internal systems
  • Opportunities to learn advanced digital proficiencies such as Power Query, PowerBI, Power Automate, M language coding, MS Office, and more.

Desired Qualifications

  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) essential

Working Hours and Wage

Monday to Thursday: 08:45 – 17:00. Friday: 08:45 – 16:00. A 45-minute break every day. (Some additional hours may be required on the first 4 working days of each month; however, this can then be taken in lieu.)

Total hours per week: 36.5 hours a week

Future Prospects

  • After completing this apprenticeship, candidates could progress to a higher-level apprenticeship in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and the candidate’s career objectives.
  • Eventually, a candidate showing sufficient aptitude for the role could progress to a leadership position.
