Brief Overview of the Role

An incredible opportunity to work as a Warehouse / Dispatch Apprentice for Atlas Ball & Bearing Co LTD. As a warehouse / stores apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of our stores (goods inwards / dispatch) department.

Duties to Include

• Goods Inwards / Receipt of deliveries – Carrying our company goods inwards procedure
• Storing goods and moving stock – Picking / packing customer orders – Repacking product to company / customer specifications – Loading goods for dispatch – Maintaining stock records and documentation
• Helping maintain clean / safe working environment / basic maintenance tasks
• Driving the companies FLT – Carrying out deliveries using the company van

From time to time, you may be required to perform other duties as requested by your Line Manager, and whilst not listed above, these duties will be appropriate to the level of responsibility held and to the scope of the role as defined.

The training you will be getting

• Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2
• Functional skills may be required if necessary.

Qualifications

• GCSE English (Grade 4) desirable

Essential Requirements

You will be required to hold/obtain a full driving licence and pass an FLT competence test to enable the candidate to drive the company vehicles (full training and assistance with will be given to achieve FLT qualification)
