Brief Overview of the Role
The apprentice will play a key role in ensuring the business meet its key goals and targets, supporting the administration office. Duties include: Using the Academy systems contact staff and pass on calls and messages.
Duties to Include
Duties to include; Provide an efficient and professional Reception service to all visitors to the Academy and members of the school community, focused on warm and friendly customer service. To ensure that all visitors to the Academy are signed in and out correctly and provided with the correct visitor passes in line with safeguarding practices. Using the Academy systems contact staff and pass on calls and messages. Monitor throughout the day the Academy inbox and direct enquiries appropriately. Answer all telephone enquiries promptly and take messages as necessary to pass on to the appropriate person. Use SIMS to locate students as required. Provide support to the Attendance Team for e.g. first day absence calls, entering marks onto SIMS and any other duties as asked for by the Attendance Officer. Operate the Texting service for the Academy and ensuring messages have been quality assured. Arrange hospitality, car parking, other special arrangements for visitors, including pre-entering on Inventry systems Arrange room bookings where necessary Supporting Heads PA with events preparation and administration duties. Supporting admin team with adhoc duties
The training you will be getting
Advanced Apprenticeship in Business Administration Level 3, Functional Skills if required, Relevant workplace training.

- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) desirable

Working Hours and Wage
Monday – Friday (term time + 5 inset days) 8.00am – 4.00pm Monday – Thursday, 8.00am – 3.30pm Friday.
Total hours per week: 37 hours a week
A full time role will be available to the successful candidate at the end of the apprenticeship
