Brief Overview of the Role

We are looking for an accounts apprentice to join our finance team in Stafford HQ. The successful candidate will be able to enjoy the family run feel whilst being a part of a larger group with unlimited career progression. Working as part of a busy finance department. You will be answering telephones and emails, ensuring the ledger is up to date, plus much more.

Duties to Include

• Posting invoices to the system
• Reconciliations of supplier statements against system postings
• Sending invoices to the relevant departments for authorisation
• Dealing with queries to ensure the ledger is up to date
• Answering telephones and emails
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring all work is completed and reports are complete before monthly and yearly period end
• Flexibility to adjust to ad-hoc challenges as required
• Ad-hoc office duties

Working Hours and Wage

08:30 – 16:30 Monday – Friday

Total hours per week: 35

Progression in Lodge’s finance team and Halford’s central finance team.

Progression to Level 3 to the right candidate.
