We continue our profiles of finalists in the Employer of the Year category of our Achievement Awards with Tinsdills Solicitors in Stoke-on-Trent.
Tinsdills were nominated for their encouraging approach and dedication to the progression of each learner. All of the apprentices at Tinsdills have finished ahead of target and those that have completed their programmes have progressed from administration apprenticeships to become legal secretaries.
Jane Massey, HR manager at Tinsdills Solicitors, said: “We see the apprentice route into our administrative functions as a supported way in which to encourage younger people to enter the world of work. The support and training that is provided by ourselves in conjunction with PTP ensures that they develop in a structured manner both practically and educationally. We view staff development as essential for the future of the business. We are committed to supporting young people and giving them the skills in the workplace to allow them to excel. We believe our staff and the expert knowledge that they have are our strongest asset.”
Tim Cogan, managing director at Tinsdills, said “The future of our company depends on developing a highly skilled workforce who will be able to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations.”
The award winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at The Village Hotel, Walsall on Thursday 15th February.
