National Apprenticeship Week 2017

It is now less than four weeks until National Apprenticeship Week, which takes place from 6th to 10th March. Events will be held throughout the country to give as many people as possible the opportunity to find out more about whether an apprenticeship could be the right next step for them. You can also tweet about your apprenticeship experience using #NAW2017.

Apprenticeship facts

  • There were more than 250,000 employer workplaces with an apprentice in 2014/15
  • 89% of apprentices are satisfied with their apprenticeship; 85% of apprentices said their ability to do the job had improved, and 83% of apprentices said their career prospects had improved
  • After finishing their apprenticeship 90% of apprentices stay in employment with seven in ten remaining with the same employer
  • Up to 28,000 apprenticeship vacancies are available online at any one time at Find an apprenticeship
