Mental Health and Employers: the case for investment report, Deloitte, 2017

Having employees trained in mental health first aid has become more important than ever. With the past year throwing the country into lockdown and everyone stuck at home it is important for employers to provide the proper resources for employees.

Our fully funded course in Certificate in Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace Level 2 aims to give learners the skills to support colleagues with mental health problems. These skills will be gained by increasing the learner’s knowledge and understanding of mental health conditions and the principles of mental health first aid and how this can be implemented in the workplace.

The three modules within the qualification cover:

  • Exploring Mental Health
  • Understand How to Support Individuals with Mental Health
  • Understand a Mentally Healthy Environment
