Inspiring visit from West Midlands Ambulance Service

A group of students from Walsall Studio School, who are currently completing a health and social care qualification with Performance Through People, received a visit from West Midlands Ambulance Service earlier this week. The visit, which took place at our Walsall training centre, was arranged to give the students a better understanding of possible careers in the healthcare sector. Eleven sixth form students took part in the activity and they were excited to have the opportunity to go inside the ambulance and ask questions about the equipment that is carried on the vehicle, the job role and the different routes into a career with the organisation. Thank you to West Midlands Ambulance Service for making the visit possible, particular thanks to Tim Sedge who brought the ambulance to the centre and answered everyone’s questions.
