    Overview

    A career in Warehousing and Logistics will involve working in the supply function of a business. Warehousing focuses on preparing goods, taking in deliveries, packing orders, and storing goods within a building. Logistics involves managing the dispatch and delivery of resources along with short term storage orders and the storage and delivery of resources.

    Standards

    You will be working towards an apprenticeship standard in one of the following:

    • Trade Supplier (Level 2)
    • Supply Chain Warehouse Operative (Level 2)
    • Supply Chain Operator (Level 2)
    • Supply Chain Practitioner (Level 3)
    • Large Goods Vehicle Driver (LGV) C and E (Level 2)

    Brief Overview of the Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for an apprentice to become part of the warehousing team at Zero Seal Systems in Staffordshire. The apprentice will play a key role within the team to ensure all targets are met. Duties to Include
    • Dealing with receipt of goods.
    • Processing sales orders.
    • Picking and packing orders.
    • Dispatching goods and performing any other duties that may be required from time to time to ensure the smooth running of the business.
    • Basic stock control.
    • Any other tasks associated with the role.
    The training you will be getting
    • Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2
    • Functional Skills in English and maths if required
    • Delivery method and location of training has yet to be confirmed

    Brief Overview of the Role As a trainee warehouse apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of our stores department. This apprenticeship opportunity will provide you with valuable hands-on experience and training in various aspects of inventory management, stock control and warehouse operations. Duties to Include
    • Maintain stock levels.
    • Carry our regular stock taking.
    • Issue and record stock.
    • Prepare orders and collections.
    • Record stock movement on the in-house system.
    • General housekeeping and safety.
    • Prepare stock for Projects.
    • Keeping warehouse tidy.
    • Monthly Stock Takes.
    • Stock in and Out.
