Brief Overview of the Role As part of strengthening our Early Years provision, we are looking for three apprentices to complement our teacher and teaching assistant teams. The apprentices will be supporting children and staff with all areas of teaching and learning, under the direction of our teachers. Duties to Include

• Supporting staff with preparation for teaching, including the creation and maintenance of EY indoor and outdoor areas.
• Supporting children with transitions, particularly at the start of the day.
• Supporting indoor and outdoor continuous provision.
• Acting as the highest standard of role model in language, behaviour and presentation.
• Providing feedback to teachers about the progress of children in relation to the EYFSP.
• Developing positive and professional relationships with parents and families.
• Working as part of a busy, effective team, showing initiative whilst adhering to school policies.
• Working in line with the school's Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy.
• General housekeeping duties

• General housekeeping duties

Brief Overview of the Role Your role would include preparing snacks and meals for nursery children, adhering to the regulations and allergens. You would also be required to maintain a high level of cleanliness and ensure the kitchen area is well organised and all stock is stored correctly. Duties to Include

• Within your role you will be Safely preparing / cooking snacks and meals suitable for young children
• Supporting with maintaining HACCP forms and working in line with regulations
• Putting away the delivery and supporting the team with stock control
• Checking dates and storing food correctly
• Ensuring the kitchen and areas of the nursery are clean and hygienic
• Supporting with laundry and day to day tasks
• Well-presented ready for work
• Be accountable to your manager

Things to Consider You would be required to have a DBS in order to take on this position as you will be working in a building with young children.
