School Apprenticeships

Our 14 - 19 programme offers students from yr 10 the opportunity to choose a vocational learning path as part of their yr 10 & 11 studies. It also offers students from yrs 12 & 13 the opportunity to gain vocational qualifications along side their academic studies, enabling them to make a smooth transition between school and industry.

Schools offer the vocational options as a route to enable students who are less academic but very practical the opportunity to gain GCSE qualifications that would not be available to them through the traditional school route. These opportunities are available in a variety of occupational areas:

• Accountancy
• Engineering
• Child Care
